10 things to do in Manitoba: September 6 to 12

We continue to stay safe and physical distance in 2021. Here are ways you can explore Manitoba safely both outdoors and at home.

A visit to Manitoba means travelling through Treaty 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 Territory and through communities who are signatories to Treaties 6 and 10. This week in Manitoba tour a local brewery, plan a weekend away at a unique stay, learn about the history of baseball in Manitoba or go on a cycling art tour in Winnipeg. Here are 10 things to do this week in Manitoba…

1. Embark on an arctic adventure

Twenty artists from Tuxedo, Charleswood and Headingley will showcase their original artwork, sculpture, pottery, jewellery and soapstone carving in their home studios this weekend during the Harte Trail Studio Tour. 4. Celebrate 150 years of the Dawson Trail

7. Discover Manitoba’s baseball history

On September 16, join the Winnipeg Art Council for a ride to the many public art installations along 13km of the Southwest Rapid Transit Corridor. 10. Race to the rodeo

Head to Morris for the Return to Rodeo Festival this weekend. The festival will feature many events including barrel racing, a full rodeo, live music and a beer garden on both days. The barrel racing events are free and rodeo tickets are $10.
